Newt as VP? Sorry guys, no doubt he’s smart, but he’s beyond damaged goods.. Trump pics Newt, and Trump now has to spend his time defending Newts actions from the mid to late 90s....

Sorry, but that’s where HIllary is, there is absolutely no reason for Trump to get dragged there and would be stupid beyond believe to do it.

Newt certainly has a place but VP ain’t it.

Yup. Too bad most here never bothered to watch him in the 2012 debates.

The man is brilliant and crushes his opponents. Enjoy these segments.

“When candidates start taking advice from anonymous posters on political discussion sites, everything will be right with the world.”

If you have the Donald’s email ...i will write to him...

....if you don’t..then your comment is ex·tra·ne·ous

..look it up..

“Donald is more random than the ‘pick six’ balls...lol”

...hence my point. One of him on the ticket is more than enough.

Agree - he was highly effective (most effective Republican since Reagan) with the Contract with America. I would love to see him craft another contract for Trump for the first 100 days.

Listening to Hillary on Fox tonight and she is clueless... we need “more intelligence?” We need to take the cuffs off our military and bring out the big stick. No more carrots or nation building.

“Newt as VP? Sorry guys, no doubt he’s smart, but he’s beyond damaged goods.. “

you know...if you look at ‘anyone’ in just the ‘right light
‘....with just the right critical eye....then EVERYONE is
“Damaged goods”

...me

...you

...everyone.

We better be careful throwing our brightest politicians to the curb because they don’t fit our personal idea of ‘non-damaged” goods.

I’d rather see Newt as his Chief of Staff, and Press Spokesman.

Newt can shoot the eye’s out of a liberal argument from 1,500 yards... and cook it for dinner...in less than a minute of air time.

We NEED him.

I respectfully disagree. While I do believe Newt would have been a great VP pick, I believe he will be an invaluable member of the cabinet. He’ll be a great Chief of Staff, and will be less constrained while working behind the scenes. Trump picking Pence will gather many conservatives, IMO.

Trouble is, Islam isn’t really a religion. It’s a totalitarian political system.

Newt can also make A TOTAL ASS OF HIMSELF, such as like sitting on couch with NANCY PELOSI to try to help her solve “Global Warming”.

I don’t need a second person on the ticket to make me wince on regular basis...Trump has done JUST FINE in that role. And for Trump to win, he needs a SERIOUS and CONSISTENT running mate.

“” Pence will gather many conservatives, IMO.””

I think we win with the independents... and Newt’s evisceration of any liberal opponent is of real value in swinging them our way.

Conservatives will pull the level for the “R”...

I do like Newt. Have liked him for some time. “Wicked smart” is pretty accurate.

And yet he folded like a cheap suit in the face of opposition from Bubba Clintoon in the ‘95 Budget Showdown. Newtie had his day.

...he SAT ON A COUCH... oh no.

Dude...really?

What do you THINK they do in DC? They work together and have agendas... Newt got MORE done in his reign than ALL the other speakers sense put together!

...and don’t get me wrong. If Trump hadn’t run, so Bush/Romney/Kasich had won the nomination, I’d be RIGHT NEXT TO YOU calling for Newt for VP. Of course I’d do that before jumping off the Verrazano.

I agree, I believe TRUMP making a huge mistake if he picks Pence over Newt.

Newt has the "fire in the belly" and would destroy Hildabeast's VP pick in every one of the debates. Pence... meh, not so much. People are not going to flock to hear wall flower Pence speak at political rallys... cue the crickets. Newt on the other hand can fill any venue and rousingly rally the troops to support TRUMP and his agenda.

“And yet he folded like a cheap suit in the face of opposition from Bubba Clintoon in the ‘95 Budget Showdown. Newtie had his day.”

Do you really even know his incredibly LONG list of conservative accomplishments?

He did more than ALL the other ‘conservative’s’ have done since....!

Lighten up Francis...:)
