LOL! I guess it is an acquired taste, then; I had always heard so much about the seeds, but I couldn’t eat them.

That’s what the Romans used to feed their military.
When a kid in the 40’s-50’s, our back lot had a Victory Garden, as did all of our neighbors’ lots in the WW2 days.
We had a pomegranate tree within our small orchard and vegetable/berry plantings. The fruit was delicious and loaded with seeds, which we discarded like melon seeds.
Mr S. mumbled “that’s my wife”. The nurse apologized profusely as she caught up with me in the waiting room. What made it worse was that Mr S snickered about it. It was a very silent, cold ride home that day!
I don’t go to his dr appointments with him anymore.

Ha!!! Hubby is much older than me and has snow on the roof. He is also much bigger than me and I am very petite so I am sure that plays into it.
