CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ken Cuccinelli of the Senate Conservatives Fund and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) sold out grassroots conservatives so they could make a spectacle on the floor of the Republican National Convention as part of the last dying breaths of the “Never Trump” collective, which is now officially dead, Breitbart News has confirmed.
A senior Republican involved in the negotiations told Breitbart News that Cuccinelli and Lee “were given an opportunity to accept two different proposals by the RNC chairman Reince Priebus.”
“They walked away from both,” said the Republican strategist personally involved in the negotiations, someone who had friends on both sides.

The petty battles over stuff at conventions is the modern day version of the put down about theologians/philsophers debating about how many angels you can put on a pin head. As with other let us say insular communities the more trivial the item being debated the more the insiders scream at each other with the outsiders scratching their heads.
The two of them getting all upset over petty things. Who cares about rules and the like insiders only care about.
They BOTH should leave the convention, what an embarrassment.
I saw an interview with Lee yesterday, he came off as a babbling idiot.
One of the great things about this election cycle is how many facades are falling away and people are able to see more and more politicians for who they truly are. We’re seeing “the man behind the curtain” in many instances.

I asked Cucinelli on his FB page if convention time is the only time changes in rules can be made. I couldn’t find a quick answer on the RNC rules page and he was only responding to all of our disparaging comments with a cut and paste deal. Does anyone know? Why aren’t these concerns brought up a year or two before a convention? Cucinelli keeps saying what he was doing had nothing to do with unbinding delegates or getting rid of Trump. I to!d him he was being duplicitous.

I would not vote for Cruz now if he was the last man on earth. These people are finished. I fully expect him to get beat in Texas by Gov. Greg Abbott. I hope that happens. to steal Trump delegates.

Cruz is planing his delegate walkout when Trump start speaking.
If the Cruzlims really cared about the conservative rules changes they would have dropped the unbind nonsense. That was never going to happen. They just wanted a wedge issue as cover to drive the Cruz campaign bus onto the convention floor. They can all DIAF. I’m done with them.
It’s unbelievable that the Never Trumpers would go after Melania! She’s not running for anything. She gave a nice, generic speech - while looking and acting like the old-fashioned European movie star Sophia Loren - and the beta males all around the country focused on a couple of phrases! As a woman, all I could do was take in her stunning beauty and poise. She could teach her husband how to use a teleprompter!
