As I understand it, a state may not recall a Federal Legislator. In Cruz’ case, only the Senate can actually toss him out, unless he’s going to go to jail then it’s perfuctory because he won’t be there anyway you slice it.

Dan was always my favorite, but he always seems one step behind. When Cruz needed his help to win the Senate Primary, Patrick endorsed his pathetic RINO. When Cruz was pretty much washed up this year for the top job, Patrick endorsed him, rather than Trump - it certainly helped Cruz win in Texas and gave Cruz the energy to drag things out to this week and then make a total ass of himself.
So I think Dan has a bit too much of Cruz’s stench on him now to really get any further...and that’s a bummer.
Gonna take a long time for Texas to wipe Cruz from soles of her boots...
