Anyone at all who doesn’t stab conservatives in the back and work against their interests when he thinks it will benefit himself will do just fine. I will support absolutely any Republican over Cruz for his Senate race, for later presidential primaries, for dogcatcher, or any position whatsoever. I think a man that unprincipled, that big of a traitor, that big of a hypocrite who has continued to place Christians in a bad light with his actions should not hold any position of trust whatsoever.
Hundreds of instances of lying about Trump, dozens of instances of lying about Rubio, dirty tricks from his campaign left and right including stealing votes from Ben Carson, the despicable faked video of Rubio supposedly insulting the Bible, and lying robocalls and shaming mailers, among several others, and pretending in best Jimmy Swaggart fashion to be the representative of God on earth compounded by this latest backstab to help Hillary (and, he thinks, his own career) are simply beyond the pale.
So come on Texans. ANY Republican but Cruz.
