Exclusive — Sarah Palin to Ted Cruz: Delete Your Career
Breitbart ^ | July 20,2016

Posted on 07/21/2016 6:03:28 AM PDT by Hojczyk

Palin, whose endorsement of Cruz’s long-shot Senate bid in 2012 was credited by Cruz himself as the reason why he won the race that launched his national political career, gave the following statement to Breitbart after delegates booed Cruz off the stage at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night:

Turns out Ted Cruz’s partner, Carly Fiorina, had a more graceful exit from the political stage than he had.

Cruz’s broken pledge to support the will of the people tonight was one of those career-ending “read my lips” moments. I guarantee American voters took notice and felt more unsettling confirmation as to why we don’t much like typical politicians because they campaign one way, but act out another way. That kind of political status quo has got to go because it got us into the mess we’re in with America’s bankrupt budgets and ramped up security threats.

It’s commonplace for politicians to disbelieve their word is their bond, as evidenced by Cruz breaking his promise to endorse his party’s nominee, evidently thinking whilst on the convention stage, “At this point, what difference does it make?” We’ve been burned so horribly by that attitude that voters won’t reward politicians pulling that “what difference does it make” stunt again. Politicians will see — it makes all the difference in the world to us.

"I missed that. What happened?"

After the intro, Cruz's speech moved into a story of the 9-year-old child of one of the Dallas police officers (Michael Smith) recently killed by the sniper. He talked about the child's last goodbye with her father, and then spoke about her father's bravery and his commitment to America and it's freedoms.

And, then he refused to endorse Trump...and was booed off the stage.

Because by giving Cruz a big platform ALL the world could see what a Lying asshat he is. If Trump hadn't then he would have been like a little gnat during the campaign and a distraction. Cruz has taken himself out of game. As Trump said, "No big deaĺ" He has not gotten many endorsements from the other 12 opponents he had.

Yea, but we didn’t have YouTube back then. People may have short. Memories, but the internet is forever. And we no longer need the MSM to feed us their pablum.

No, Cruz is part of the same establishment and Romney bought his endorsements. Cruz wanted to ride Romney’s money and possible power.

Cruz will go down in history as the man who stepped on it with both feet.

“I don’t know if I’d go as far as to say Cruz deleted his career. He might still have a bright future in his native Canada ;)”

In all truth, I see him going full Mormon, and relocating to Utah, Arizona, Nevada or Idaho to continue in politics, after Heidi cuts him loose.

His theology fits Mormonism quite well and those like Beck are already claiming he is the fulfillment of Mormon prophecy.

Dollar to donuts Cruz thought this would endear him to the establishment GOP. Trump has become the GOP. Cruz is toast.

Sarah has certainly made some bad calls on character. I think she is by nature generous with her trust, and opportunists like oily Felito abuse that generosity. I still love that lady, and hope that Donald will have a significant position for her within his administration.

You can make all the “assurances” you want. Unless you are George Soros, your crystal ball don’t cut it. I have seen many a “dead” pol rise phoenix-like from his own ashes.

Nonetheless, Cruz laid an egg.

>>>“Vote your conscience” was certainly a boneheaded move by Ted.<<<

When he said it, he wasn’t just taking a swipe at Trump, he was taking a shot at every Republican Candidate down Ticket.

Absolutely boneheaded. It left the Democrats as a viable alternative in the minds of the uneducated masses watching at home who believe Democrats actually have a conscience.

Right, the “internet is forever.” Which, weirdly, is the same as “the internet doesn’t exist.” Otherwise, Barack Obama would never have been re-elected. Because the record of his lies is gargantuan. But no one cares.

The internet should have destroyed Hillary Clinton for Benghazi alone.

But it didn’t.

I remember months ago when Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump instead of Ted Cruz, the most HATEFUL, DISGUSTING things were said about her and her family, on this very forum..turns out Sarah Palin was CORRECT about Ted Cruz, if Ted Cruz cared about our 2nd Amendment he would have at least said he SUPPORTS Donald Trump, he cant even get himself to do that..so much for a guy who claims he cares about our Constitution, if Hillary Clinton becomes President you can all say ADIOS to the Constitution

“His theology fits Mormonism quite well and those like Beck are already claiming he is the fulfillment of Mormon prophecy.”

Yes it does, such as it is. Certainly he has no strong belief in biblical Christianity.

I truly see him doing going Mormon if things wither in Texas, and leaning on that ecclesiastical/political institution to keep him afloat. The basic tenets would appeal to his ego, and I suspect he would like the multiple wives aspect which isn’t legal yet, but will be if we continue our present trajectory.

Retrench as a Mormon, bide his time, if a North American Union is realized, jump into that with all four feet, as a “citizen of all North America”.
