Stop being a cop hater!!! The cops have a right to shoot anybody anytime, it's all about "Officer Safety" < / sarc
That is standard procedure...but it appears to me as though the ‘accidental shooting’ idea came about later because it is the only plausible explanation for what the cop did. The therapist was handcuffed and taken into custody because the cop intended to shoot him, IMHO.
However, still need to wait for the complete investigation.
