Lieawatha has lived in the bubble of academia for decades based on her tenure gained by claiming to be a Native American with high cheek bones. She is too indoctrinated to ever see the error of her ways and too arrogant to admit it if she did.
She does not impress me and never has-my family has DNA-provable Native American ancestry so does every other Mestizo family-in other words, almost everyone of Latino ancestry in the Americas-and maybe half those from old French families in Canada-big deal.
