I think these same type of “good” people also rehabbed a penguin....put him out to sea with a monitor....they could hear the “chump”....when they said good bye....they meant it.
Like all the seabirds they washed with *Dawn* liquid soap, after the Gulf spill. Average life span after release was a very short 7-9 days
I think, after the Valdez spill, the sea otters didn’t live very long. I’m not positive about them though. Has to do with the oil that they ingest.
