I wrote a HS book report on the Right Stuff back in 1983.
it was the first movie i ever saw on VHS video Tape.
Watched it over my aunts house, she was the only person i knew at the time that had a VHS.

Me and the GF just watched it again 2 weeks ago.
Surprisingly she LOVED it.

One of those long movies i hoped would never end..

I think women tend to like that movie because it includes some of the astronauts' wives' perspective. Great soundtrack, too.

I remember hearing the main theme booming from the Disney-Hollywood Studios (them MGM) speakers. A couple walking near me was trying to figure out what movie it was from, so I told them. They'd never seen the movie before, but the woman pulled a notepad out of her purse and jotted down the name. Hope they enjoyed it.
