...What message does it send, a reporter asked pointed, that the leads of your shows in the fall are all heterosexual white men?...
...were very mindful at CBS about the importance of diversity and inclusion...
...of 16 new series regulars, 11 of them are diverse, Geller continued...
Hmm, so they very assiduously keep track of race, gender, and other demographics in their programming. Obviously you can't get the "right mix" without making some tough calls on casting...
Hmm, making decisions, favoring one person over another based on race...gosh, I know there's a word to describe that behavior, what was it? Oh yeah, "racist."
Every time I hear some libtard proudly proclaim how "diverse" they are and how hard they work to support diversity or how perfect their mix of X, Y, or Z is... All I hear is "I'm intentionally racist, sexist, etc. etc. and make decisions based not on merit but to check some arbitrary box..." In other words: every one of them are hypocritical idiots.
Several years ago, I asked my boss to explain our company's diversity policy one day. The main reason I did, was that she was trying to explain the policy as not meaning race/sex/religion, etc.. but diversity of background, experience, and education.
In the most subtle way I could (sledgehammer diplomacy), I asked how they tracked that particular commitment to diversity. She had no answer. So then, I asked her if they couldn't track it with the ideology they had in mind for the program, how the company did actually track it. Yup. Race/sex/religion/persuasion. So, I asked how making the diversity quota led to helping the bottom line if the best actual candidates for the job were bypassed to make the arbitrary quota.
Typical liberal. Had no answer, but that the company was doing great with respect to diversity.
There's a reason I don't work there anymore.
