When you look at the internals of the polls that show Trump behind, they make no sense. He’s ahead with Republicans. He’s ahead with independents. They have to have an electorate that’s like 50% democrat or 70% female.
These polls prove a Trumpslide!TM -- because I suspect they
a) are only showing Hillary up by 9% or so, when Trump hasn't launched a single major initiative, while Bill's cuckolded wife has spent > $60 million on commericials, and has and four or five major "journalistic front" attacks on Trump wither on the vine
b) were probably taken among the staffers at the New York Slimes and STILL Trump is "within striking distance" : recall that Dukakis was up by 17% or so around this time.
Key point -- as noted by "Danger and Play" blogger Mike Cernovich -- is that asking someone "who would you vote for, Hillary or Trump" does not take into account the motivation to *actually get up and GO to the polling place on election day."
