How do you destroy a toilet?
I would believe a bit of extortion by a security guard, before I could easily believe that.

It is possible to destroy a toilet. Usually requires some tools though.
They might have just tried to flush some TP down it after having used it.
SOP for bathrooms in the USA but will cause a major clog and back up in South American septic systems.
Now that I could see happening.

COULD BE THAT It was a pos toilet to begin with, and the owner tried to extort money saying they broke the handle...
Kinda like the old speed trap trick where you get arrested.
Maybe the cabbie was in on it too.
