Is this a new series? I used to watch Poldark years ago on PBS.
Poldark is a new version released in 2015. Season 2 starts September 4 in UK. PBS has already committed to broadcast Season 2 (IIRC), but I am not sure whether it will broadcast simultaneously with the UK or later next year.
I have not seen the older version.
Yes, the new Poldark is fantastic. Another older complete series in a similar vein is Lark Rise to Candleford.
