I watched Connections in the ‘70s and it was the most educational TV I’ve yet seen to this day. It brought the timelines of history, science and discovery into a big picture to see how we got here from there. Fascinating.

I went to look up “Connections” but forgot the word and ended up looking for the movie “Threads”, which is about the horrific aftermath of nuclear war and now I’m bummed out.

As an aside: “Nye” is old English for “new”. It was a name given to Viking settlers/invaders in the east of England by folks already there.
