If the camera is 2 miles from the site, that bird must be superbird to fly that fast through the field of view.

Not at all. If it is closer to the camera then it will appear very fast in relation to the rocket.

Also note the lighting on the object did not change. Indicating we are seeing the side away from the fireball. If it were behind the rocket, we would see the side illuminated by the fireball and it would get brighter, even if it is a dark object.
