Fear the Walking Dead ping!
Please let me know if you would like on or off the FTWD ping list!
I still have last week’s episode and TD on the recorder but I haven’t watched either.
Seems like FWD is slightly dropping in viewership. No word on whether AMC might cancel. AMC did cancel the new series, ‘Feed the Beast.’
Put me on the ping list please.
I’m rooting for the zombies.
And I’m thinking about rooting for the vampires in The Strain.
Me too. I’m for the zombies.
I hope the entire cast and writers get bitten.
You’ve been added!
I am running one week behind, also. I plan to watch last week’s FTWD tonight and then The Last Ship instead of the new FTWD episode. That pattern is likely to continue.
These crummy shows are doing things like starting or ending their show time by 1 minute, in order to defeat VCR recordings for those with only 2 tuners in their VCR. One defense is to record one of their multiple repeats.
I have a Tivo with 6 tuners and that one minute trick even challenges that at times.

Well, when it comes to Eph and his son, yeah, bring on the vamps. However, I am a fan of Setrakian and Fet.
I got a 4-tuner TiVo Bolt last year. It does sometimes have problems with those extra minutes. Also, all DVRs/Tivos have problems when sports runs into the evening programming. I have my settings where it generally records 1 minute before and 1 to 2 minutes after a program.
I occasionally will mark the regular time program and a later time rerun on cable channel programs to record both.
I am primed for The Last Ship. One more episode this season, I think. It has already been renewed for another season.
I really tried to like this. Gave two seasons. But FTWD sucks. The characters suck, the actors suck, the writing sucks, the plot lines (to the extent there are any) suck. It just sucks.
Yep. Same here. Gave it a try but when idiots write scripts then smart people shouldn’t watch the shows.
they probably have an entire set of protocols for insulating one series from the other. that way, if one series begins to suck, it does not rub off on the other series and drag the other series down with it. for example, the writers of one series would not be allowed to talk with the writers of the other series. ditto for directors, producers, other crew, and cast (except possibly or extras).
Dad needs to go totally “Of Mice and Men” on his little psychopath son.
My thoughts exactly concerning The Strain!
I forced myself to watch this episode as its been getting harder and harder to tune in but I found it to be one of the better episodes, which might not mean much. But it gave me enough of a push to stick with it. Then it hit me at the end of the show— the episode didn’t have a lot of the main characters in it and the few that were in the episode for more than 10 minutes were actually doing something. But my point is it was a better episode with most of the cast missing. There needs to be a lot of killing off of the original cast to save this show. Which is exactly the opposite of my TWD opinion where I think they’ve killed off to many good characters to fast— IMHO.
