Why? You are not going to be buying "blades" to refill the Apple AirBuds. They come with their own charging storage case. So what exactly is the disposable Apple will be selling to fulfill that marketing model? I don't find one.
Why does an Android user care?
So you're a troll on more than one forum.
“Why are you complaining? You don’t use an iPhone “
And you see the reason why.
And I see that you still cant answer what I asked:
“Exactly what technology is being pushed into the future? “
So save the whiny attempt at shaming me, and try answering that.
Quit coming to Apple threads and telling Apple users they are stupid. You populate every Swordmaker thread with hyperbole and insults and it changes not one Apple users mind. It is never about the hardware it is always about the whole system and Apple users clearly prefer it. Do we like it when Apple doesn't offer some cool feature that Android offered? No but we are willing to forgo that new killer feature because we don't want the inevitable baggage that comes with it. If it is really cool it will find its way into the system.
Did you notice that Apple built an entirely new processor to handle the bluetooth audio? Probably not.
“Like every other time Apple has killed of worthless technology “
Newsflash! Headphones are “worthless old technology”!
Why????
Because the Apple fans were told to say it.
Where is it actually considered that?
Nowhere outside of the Apple fanboy’s head.
“It is really older than 100 years and it is analog”
So? Are those terms you think mean “obsolete”?
The point is that you clowns are desperately running around hte internet swearing up and down that headphones are these dinosaur deivces that are holding humans back
“In a phone where space is at a premium the old analog jack took up a lot of prime Realestate.”
LOL! This display is seriously sad.
A poster on Reddit put it well when he recalled how Jobs extolled the headphone jack on the 3G as being made so well that any headset could use it, only to have fanboys in 2016 swear that headphones are antiques, only in the past 12 hours.
[Quit coming to Apple threads and telling Apple users...Blah blah. More shaming language.]
No.
If you dont want people to comment, dont post it.
He has to play at it, you don't
That’s so cute.
The offended user of corporate brand. Like FR’s own version of Hillary supporters.
Not head phones, 1/8 inch headphone jack. Solve the whole problem by avoiding Apple products and Apple threads.
Works both ways shill.
“Not head phones, 1/8 inch headphone jack.”
And that isnt even true either! So far no Apple guy can even give a legit reason for it. It’s even hilarious reading Apple blogs completely ignore it for lack of a good reason either.
Who's buying any earbud set? Apple's Lightning earbuds come with the iPhone 7. If you WANT the wireless, you can purchase many choices that are priced from much lower to much higher than Apple's new Airbuds at $149.
Wow, VanDeKoik, after all your trollish comments in this thread (18 of the first 72 posts) your envy, jealousy, bitterness and feelings of inadequacy are showing for all to see, IMHO. Perhaps Mommie told you that there will be no iPhone for you on your birthday.
“Wow, VanDeKoik, after all your trollish comments”
Trollish defined as “I don’t like what you said”. Dont have a real rebuttal...just dont like that you said it.
And then a few more lines of shaming language. 2/10 on the iSJW scale.
Do YOU use a MacBook or a Mac Pro so you can tell us how inconvenient they are?
I know you don't. I'm typing on a MacBook right now, and I have a MacPro at my office. For my MacBook when I sit at my desk, I have a single connector that goes to a dock with multiple jacks for Ethernet, multiple USB ports, three more USB-C ports, two Thunderbolt ports, a mini-video port, and a card reader.
Why would I need to plug in multiple cables into my notebook when I put it on my desk when can simply plug in one single connection which does it all? Again, you are complaining about something YOU DO NOT USE and telling us, who do use it how crippled we are for using it. . . when we are not at all crippled and in fact find it quite useful and well thought out.
The Mac Pro at the office is connected to our Three Dimensional Panorex X-ray machine and drives a complex process of converting approximately 360 individual CT scans into a color 3D scan of a patient's head, including soft tissue. It's attached to two Ethernet networks, the Panorex, a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and a 15 terabyte (5X3TB) RAID array to store the images and backups. However, the Mac Pro, has connectivity available to connect to a total of 96 separate devices if I needed it to, including eight 30" HD monitors.
The total space that Mac Pro requires, including the RAID Array, (not including the $160,000 Panorex Machine), is approximately 6.6" W x 9" H x ~12" D. It replaced an old Mac Pro tower that took up 8.1" W x 20.1" H x 20" D, The new Mac Pro is totally silent in operation while the old one could sound quite loud when all the fans were running.
BUT YOU ARE IGNORANT BECAUSE YOU DON'T USE EITHER OF THESE, BUT YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TO SHOW US HOW MUCH YOU DON'T KNOW BY SOUNDING OFF ABOUT SOMETHING YOU JUST HEARD SOMETHING ABOUT FROM SOMEONE JUST AS IGNORANT AS YOU! Whew. Got that off my chest.
It absolutely is true not a headphone made with an 1/8 jack is obsolete, every one of them will still work on the iPhone 7.
