Kaepernick can afford to piss people off, as he's now a washed-up has-been that nobody really cared about until two weeks ago.
The Hawks have a LOT more to "lose" if they pull an asinine stunt like this.
Why exactly do you worship a bunch of people who care nothing for you and will be gone in a few years ?
