In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
Paean (pee-uh n)
Noun
2. A hymn of invocation or thanksgiving to Apollo or some other ancient Greek deity.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

While they write Clinton soaring paeans.
That’s the votes of peons; they don’t count. In the literal sense, their votes really may not count, not if it’s close enough at the polls that SEIU workers and other Obama minions can adjust the totals.
