Some things are almost too funny-the people who rented the cabin just up the road for the weekend got a bouncy house from a party rental place, too-I saw them setting it up when I was down by the river this morning-I guess they intended to use it at a party, because there are at least 12 people there.
A couple of hours later I was filling the bird feeders on the deck and saw that the same people were backing a truck with 2 canoes on a trailer down toward the riverbank-someone yelled no, no-use your goddamn brakes on a f’ing slope! Then there was a bump, a loud whooshing sound and the bouncy house collapsed flat on the ground-and people started yelling at each other.
From where I was, it looked like the driver of the pickup truck didn’t use his brakes on the slope-and slid backwards, hitting the bouncey house with the edge of the trailer and tore a hole in it-I couldn’t help laughing-I doubt that the party rental place will be pleased with what happened...
People are crazy.
LMAO......I was at the 9/11 memorial dedication and no one had parked us. It was a disaster. I got in through and opening but did not feel confident getting out that way. I was waiting for an opening to get onto the road when a huge black truck tried it...he decided he couldn’t make it and promptly backed up into a car. I took a quick pic and watched. The car’s owner came back consulted with the guy in the truck, then jumped in his car and took off. Guess there was no damage.
