GI Joe’s are perfect for boys.
My boys played for hours, building towns out of cardboard boxes, setting up military outposts, rescuing people (in peril in the bathrub, etc. They had a collection of every one of the GI Joe’s.

My sons turned out to be great dads for their children.

Well, my 3 year old does. Was playing with some polly pockets when we were at a friend's house. Not a big deal. He also plays lego and play fights with his brother. All of us just need to let our children role play, and choose whatever toys they wish. Forcing masochism or feminism will just back fire IMVHO.

I think the real demons out there are even worrying and talking about sex and people trying to sexualize the activities of our children. And of course I think home life and role models are a big deal. I expect something wrong happened in a boys home life for him to question sexual identity.
