Here’s a REAL scary thought. What if Michelle replaces her, and Barak is her VP?!!! They even floated the possibility of Michelle running for president some day in the future, over the summer. And they really played her up at the convention, they wrote her a stellar speech and had her all dolled up. Is this really preposterous? I certainly hope it is. ...but I wonder...
If it were legal for ex-presidents to run for vice president then Hillary’s VP would be Bill Clinton.
A legitimate concern - and an ugly scenario. However, the Magic Mulatto would be ineligible to serve as POTUS again, so he would not be able to run for any office that’s in the chain of succession.
Obviously we, you and or I, could make up literally anything and I’m not making things up for the pure sake of exercising my imagination nor paranoia.
But it cannot be argued that the 7 years this admin has been in power haven’t seen a fair number of things nobody ever, ever thought we would see. Particularly the several examples of just tromping on laws that we all thought, up until those several moments, that we respected. All of us, Dem & Rep alike. Just because they were laws. We had these quaint notions of these things known as laws as being...well...laws. And then we not only found out they were merely suggestions; we found out that huge numbers of people were perfectly happy to obliterate those used-to-be laws, and we further found out that a cadre of some unknown composition was already positioned to enforce the non-lawness of those former laws and even further, to self-aggrandize as a result of the overthrow/repeal of those ex-laws.
