PITTSBURGH - An unofficial vote has determined that the Fraternal Order of Police union has “no confidence” in Pittsburgh Police Chief Cameron McLay.

McLay has found himself in the middle of several controversies since he became chief almost two years ago. The first concerned a picture of him holding a sign about racism at work. Other incidents include officers working overtime at the Pittsburgh Marathon and for Beyoncé’s Heinz Field concert. Most recently, he’s been criticized for appearing in uniform at the Democratic National Convention.

Fewer than half of the Pittsburgh Police Bureau’s officers participated in the online survey. In total, 227 officers said they have “no confidence” in McLay. Fourteen said they did.

There apparently is hope for very blue, Allegheny county ... the other part of Dem corruption after Filthydelphia.

Pittsburgh and Philedelphia are the only reason Pennsylvania ever goes/stays blue.

I'm encouraged by this show of conservative solidarity in the Pittsburgh police force.

You GO, guys.

Yes but this is different.

Since the early 30’s this town was run by old-school Tammany Hall-style machine Democrats with heavy union connections. When Bill Peduto became Mayor things took a dramatic turn to the left. He’s less about old-school take care of “da workin’ man” politics, and all about San Francisco-style cultural Marxism. The place is rapidly turning into Portland with pierogies.
