Now I’m hungry.
How are you? Looked for John Roberts in Maine this summer but I didn’t see him.
Fin, thanks for asking.
I suspect Johnny Bob, being the type he is, came across our FR comments and photos and is back on the down low in DC.
Darn little press on him lately. Must feel used and abandoned.
take care and give ‘em hell.
The ordinance says no roosters though.
Can you imagine? When I lived near Asbury Park, NJ, they kept roosters for cockfights. And even this city girl now knows they don’t just cry ONCE.
Listening to moron Cuomo claiming it isn’t int’l terrorism.
NYC is my hometown. Now I almost never go in. But I had to go in twice in the last two weeks. It has turned into a pure Hell hole ... just like the set of a bad dystopian sci-fi movie.
How about a patch of corn in the front yard just south of Irish neighborhood & Lehman College in the Bronx in 1971?
I’ve converted by big hurricane generator to propane and have (at last count) 34 of these propane bottles in storage. I bought most of them at yard sales for $3.00 each. Some were full at $8.00 each.
Fire codes ban this universally, not just in Nueva Yawk Cuidad.
You need to fill your hummingbird feeder. No wonder that they’re so hungry when they get down here.
My mother used to steal corn from the farms of Queens as a child. Even I remember the farm in Rosedale, Queens at the bottom of our street. Owned by siblings named Tillie, Lenny and Lizzie. Lost New York!
If he doesn’t make it as president, he’s reviving Green Acres as Oliver.
I’ve seen pictures of homes literally burned down to the ground and the only object left remaining is the steel propane tank.
As a former firefighter, fire investigator and fire marshal take it from me. You don’t want your stupid-sh*t neighbor being allowed to have a propane grill on his un-sprinklered balcony. If said stupid-sh*t neighbor has a badly maintained grill that catches fire (or even if he has a fire in his apartment that spreads to the balcony) it’s not the explosion that’s the problem, it’s the supply of fuel that will make the fire exponentially spread to the rest of the building. Modern propane tanks are designed to vent before they explode and what they vent is LPG. Five gallons of propane can give a fire a helluva start. Basic thermodynamics will do the rest.
That's because LPG tanks are designed to vent so that they don't explode when overheated. The venting gas from the tank probably contribute to the total destruction of the burned down house you saw.
Don’t see anything banning the storage of propane tanks in mosques.
perhaps you should check my profile page. Just saying.
I should have added, or madam. I plead guilty as charged, whatever the charge is.
No wurries. :)
On the bright side, you picked an appropriate Freeper name...
