VANITY #BOYCOTTNFL

Having served my country for 10 years, TO ME it is an abomination that the over-paid NFL players sit (or otherwise disrespect)our flag and our national anthem. They have the right to do that, I have the right to #BoycottNFL

I may be the only one but I will not pay for the "stage" for these losers to stand on.

I’m sorry, I cannot join your boycott. That would mean that I had to have watched in the first place.

I’m unusual I guess. I’m a guy who just doesn’t live and breathe football.

I’ve been to two professional games in my life, both of free tickets. I maybe watch 20 minutes of football a year. Sometimes watch Super Bowl, but not usually.

So, I don’t have a dog in this hunt, but these ungrateful crybaby juveniles getting paid millions to play a kids game are pathetic. If the teams had any standards, these players would be benched until they got their act together.

So why did it take you so long to decided to boycott the NFL? I haven't watched that league of professional thugs, criminals and millionaire crybabies in over 20 years.

Not what I consider a good use of my time.

All the car companies
All the major beer companies
Airlines
Insurance companies
Restaurant chains

Think of all the money you’re going to save.

The real Catch 22 is that a lot of libs want to get rid of football. I think it’s why the bigwigs aren’t canning or benching the kneelers.

We need a list of who is kneeling and have endorsements and let them know we will not buy their merchandise.

I can’t boycott because I already don’t watch.

Shun the sponsors.

Well, all those Left-leaning talking heads at ESPN will NOW take heed if we see an other significant drop in viewership for Week 2 compared to Week 2 last season. They may not understand the social issue aspect of the fan boycott, but they certainly will heed the financial aspect of such a boycott because lower ratings means lower revenue to the NFL, a league now highly dependent on TV rights for its revenues.

When I was at Domino’s, it always amazed me how many people had a shrine to John Elway and the Broncos in the front room of their house.

#cutthenfl drop them from your cable bill, drop them from your television, drop them from your schedule... NCAA football is actually more exciting anyway...

cutting cable also hits CNN, FEAUX NEWS AND ESPN AS WELL... quit feeding the billionaires that use your money against you time and time again.

Disappointing that your post got so little traction.

I’ve been there a number of years, now cable/satellite-free.

Agreed. I particularly disliked his invoking of Veterans once the heat came on. Race-bating coward that he is....

The last football game I watched was when I was in the high school band and had to be there, 1973. Never had any interest in it.

I was a big baseball fan, never had a favorite team, just liked to watch two good t4eams square off, couldn’t care less who won.

Until 1975 when the players went on strike for more money. Season started 2 months late I think it was. I was in the military making less than 1/4 what they did to sit on the bench, while I waited for some politician to decide to send me halfway around the world to be a moving target.

I didn’t like that. So I never watched a baseball game again, the last one I watched was the world series of 1973.

The only sports I’ve ever had any interest in since then is the Olympics and an occasional NASCAR race. And it’s probably been 5 years since I watched a few minutes of a race.

I never buy any sports related items, even things I find in yard sales with any team logo, it stays there. I once passed up a deal on a nice jacket because it had the Houston Oilers logo on it. 2 bucks...leather...no thanks...

Michael Vick caught raising 25 pit bulls to take to dog fights. A year later back on the football field making millions.

I can’t remember how many busted for drunk, beating their wives and girlfriends, drugs, steroid scandals, and the ever present incredibly stupid commercials. Beer commercials are a pet peeve. Professional “athletes” and role models promoting the biggest drug problem in this country...deplorable.

I don’t support any sports team, never have, haven’t watched a game of any kind since the mid 70’s and that was when I visited friends who were huge Oilers/Cowboys fans. Didn’t stay long...
