Knives a few years ago were as ubiquitous as cell phones today. I carried a nice stainless divers knife in addition to numerous pocket knives. Nice solid block of moly-steel. Used to practice throwing it constantly. Also had a bayonet and a knurled “tire thumper” in the truck. Wonder how many years that’d get me today?

In the 50s we all had pocket knives and took them to school and everywhere else.
