Let's list some tips from FReepers to Donald Trump for the debate Monday night. I'll begin.
1. Have a coherent response to "How are you going to get Mexico to pay for the wall?" question. It will come up.
2. Do not mention Hillary's ill health, and don't pull a Rick Lazio and walk over with a lozenge when she starts coughing.
3. Have info about the Middle East-- countries, cities (Aleppo), allies, current outlook, strategies to fight ISIS, alQueda etc... on the tip of your tongue.
4. Have an answer to "Why did you donate $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation a few years ago?"
5. Don't dwell on polls, or trade deals, or the 16 Republicans you beat out to win the nomination.
Exactly! Trump thinks on his feet. He'll do just fine. He destroyed 16 competitors, Clinton, the moderator, and the media are a piece of cake.
Besides, Clinton IS sick, rarely speaks, has had no competitors to deal with, and when she, she lost. Her legalistic, detailed, and nuanced non-answers will not work against Trump's emotional, commonsense appeal.
I hear ya, but I dont think he has refined himself and if he has then it is fine with me if wants to go back to pre-refined self if he ever thinks thats best... All of these misunderstandings like ‘bleeding from the whatever’ were completely made up. Just curious how do you think he refined himself?
Yrump just needs to be homself, help his reaction time by getting sleep and just simply continue to respond with “common sense” with every question.

Try: “We’ll take it out of their allowance over the next 5 years;” or, “If they want to trade with us, tariff-free, over the next 5 years, they will a) confiscate narco=cash and hand it over, or b) send us some of their gold/silver reserves, and mine some more” (they have more silver than anyone), or c) hire, at their expense, a third of the workers who will build the wall, recruiting Mexican nationals who are illegally in the US — keeping them on the Mexican side of the construction sites, until the wall is done; any who spend 18 months on the project will be eligible to be among the first ones to come through the “door” LEGALLY.
And that’s just point #1, “All of which is negotiable, which is what I do best.”
Trump needs to reach out and offer the clinton campaign the chance to delay the debate because of her ailing health.

He has stayed on message and not gotten off track. He is much more focused. And it has shown in the polls.
Trump just needs to keep his cool, stay focused, calm and come across as reasonable.... call out a flagrant attack or bias if it happens.. but don’t let Hillary or the Moderator(s) bait you into anything silly.
Stay on message... stay positive for America... You have this by a country mile.

How Trump can knock out Hillary in the first debate
Excellent. Trump needs you as a speech writer.
I also filled out the donor survey about the debate Senate and suggested Mr. Trump should wear a strobelight necktie to trigger a Hillary siezure.
Stay calm and look presidential - for every decibel increase in shrillness Hillary exhibits as the debate progresses - and she can’t avoid becoming shrill - Donald should tell himself “I’m winning”, smile a bit, and mellow out all the more.....
When Hillary steps into the Portapotty the campaign insisted she be provided there on the stage, step over and snap a padlock on the door.
That stay on message stuff is total BS (my opinion). That is all Never Trump stuff. The never trumpers are the ones who say trump cantbstay on message, no one else. And they do it after the Never Trumpers collectively try to move Trump off message. The press will cover anything Ronmney or Lindsey Gram say and when the press puts all the media attention on that the Never Trumpers go “Trump cant stay on message”. A matter of fact that is all these Never Trumpers are trying to do. Kasich yesterday was trying to get Trump to apologize for Birtherism. Basically Kasich was trying to make that what the press should be talking about.

Think what you will but Trump is much more effective and attractive now than before.
Be polite. Be professional. But have a plan to kill everyone in the room.

And what “experience” is Hillary going to cite? Benghazi? Egypt? The Russian Reset button? North Korea? Iran? Or will it be her monumental accomplishments as carpetbagger ... er, I mean senator ... from New York? Let’s see ... what were those again?
