It's been all over the internet and YouTube for quite some time. The media would have you believe that it's a dumb southerner thing in the US only. It's been going on worldwide, in Italy, in Russia, check YouTube. Fad, internet meme, whatever. It's not as isolated or as recent as it looks.
Thanks. I just started seeing headlines about it about 2 weeks ago. Was never interested enough to look into it until now. FReepers are the best source of accurate information!
Just go on YouTube and search “scary clown Russia” or “scary clown Italy” or whatever country. It goes back at least two years if not longer.
