I’ve heard they’re going with Elton John’s “The *itch Is Back”.
That’s probably my favorite Donovan song. Though Dr John’s version on the Blues Brothers 2000 soundtrack blows it out of the water.
Vanilla Fudge cover of this has a very creepy feel

As much as I love VF, their version of “Season” was terrible.
Bloomfield/Kooper/Stills, Super Session would be my pick.
