My first question is, has she ever made similar gestures in any of her previous debate appearances?
She was elected to the Senate twice and was in campaign debates each time, as well as 2 Presidential Primary campaigns with debates. That’s a lot of debates. Does she have a history of making repetitive signals/gestures in any of those?

It might also depend on whether she was in a position in the past to command a willing co-conspirator to do this.
