Better that than our technique. We would spend the money on infrastructure and a military in Afghanistan or Syria. At least France gets to keep the trains.

All Socialist nations suffer the same crippling disease. The ghetto cities have high density housing serviced by run down commuter trains.
Recently heard a private expert on govt trains. Nobody wants to build housing nearby unless, you guessed it, more govt subsidizing.
