The death knell has tolled for the Big Mac. Only one in five millennials, aged 18 to 34, has ever tried or knows what a Big Mac tastes like

Far too many millenials are spoiled, entitled hot-house flowers who expect to be treated like pre-schoolers in college and have been taught to turn their collective nose up at one of the great accomplishments of the Western world: cheap, nutritious food. They're in for quite an experience in their 30s when they have to move out of mom's house and fend for themselves.

I am in culinary school at the moment and the most inspiring lecture so far (aside from the lousy home ec cooking assignments!) was about the evolution of the fast food industry that went hand in hand with post-WWII American automobile culture. We started with Stouffers to Howard Johnson (who gave Jacques Pepin his start) through all of today’s fast food joints, including McDonalds. What an achievement!
