Because, if you watched the second Presidential debate conclude, you can see the Clintons, especially Bill, hang around on the stage drumming up as much cover conversation they could, after Trump went after them with the Bill assault victims themselves sitting in the debate audience, and also bringing up Bill Clinton losing his law license.
These stories drummed up on Trump are an attempt to both diminish and desensitize the severity and perceptions of the assaults by Bill Clinton.
