The article mentions the anthem protests once, and even then, it's in the same sentence as concussions, at which point the NFL lackey talks about concussions not being an issue with the decline.
What I am sick of is the hiring of females to find out how someone feels about loosing the game, career ending injuries, or new hair dos. I am also nauseated by the constant fashion shows of retro uniforms. Roslenberger, et al, looked like a swarm of bees last week.
I don’t mind the women but I don’t hiring them because they are women.

The big chink in the armor of the NFL’s argument is that college football ratings are going UP. They’re floating these cheesy excuses for more reasons than just calming down the fans that are still with them. The NFL is trying to calm down the sponsors that are getting jittery.
