Late last night there were all sorts of rumors flying around about Julian Assange;

Embassy stormed by the Brits.

His internet cut off by a State.

He was dead.

He was assassinated.

It would be unless Ecuador agreed to it. Who knows what sort of pressure Soros and the Clinton Foundation could put on them?

I admit when my headaches get really bad i can be a little grouchy.

The attempt to complete their Coup d’Etat proceeds. We must vote Trump to stop this wholesale hijacking of the American Revolution.

I’ve read the threads and still don’t know. Apparently you do?

You can confirm or refute anything by simply looking at the Wikileaks Twitter account:

https://twitter.com/wikileaks

If it's not there, you can be nearly 100% assured it's bogus.

Wikileaks is more than just Assange. He is just their public face, and they clearly have contingencies in place for anything that might happen to him.

If you want up-to-date information, look at their Twitter account. You don't need a Twitter account, but if you have one you can follow them and get instant notification.

Thank you for doing your part to slow the decline of Free Republic into a cesspool of pointless vanities, click-bait blog pimping, and nutjob conspiracy theories.

... and, I refer you, concerned FReeper, to the title of the thread and ask again: apparently you know what happened to Assange last night? Because I still don't.

I don’t post but have read some of your posts on other threads. Are you a LW shill troll? Not that you would admit it. . . but something is always a little off about your posts.

For what its worth it appears that WikiLeaks is either down, or is getting so many hits that it keeps timing out.

Apparently, I have to spoon feed it to you.

  1. Nothing happened to Assange last night.

  2. His Internet access was somehow disrupted, but contingencies were activated. London is covered in mobile/cellular and WiFi, so that's not difficult.

  3. Some hashes/keys were published. They were either to validate the integrity of existing/future files, or to partially decrypt them (some reports say they are encrypted with multiple levels, and this was only the first level).

The rest is noise, spam, click-bait blog pimps, and pointless speculation.

I learned all of that by reading Wikileaks Twitter messages. Did you bother to follow the link I provided?

Spoon feeding, lol. What is FR coming to, you actually had to answer a question.

Who is LW?

Look at my join date. I make even you look like a noob, and you have been around for over a decade.

You have also been around long enough to know what Free Republic used to be.

The only thing "off" about my posts is an attempt to inject some rationality into the wild-eyed speculation that passes for "news" around here.

What is FR coming to, you actually had to answer a question.

I did answer your question, by providing an authoritative source. Not only did it provide the information you wanted... it would provide future updates, so you wouldn't have to ask again.

It was the information version of the "teach a man to fish" parable.

Your unwillingness to use it was your failure, not mine.

“Maybe Pamela Anderson of BayWatch will give us a report on her FaceBook. She was the last visitor he had, to deliver a vegan sandwich..”

Maybe we can start a rumor that the sandwich was poisoned! (my attempt at humor)

-Wikileaks put out verification codes for 3 data dumps.
The information can be verified as authentic by the people who downloaded the information.
Basically -please verify the stuff I put out is identical to the stuff you have. If the information has been altered or compromised the encryption will not work.
This might be in response to Biden showing up in London and his stating the the cia was going after the “Russians” in cyberspace.
It was stated that 8 people (7police in uniform and a suited man with a briefcase) entered the embassy last night. Nobody has seen them leave. Might be protection for the embassy or a lawyer.

- The Ecuador embassy in London has either shut Julian’s Internet access off or they have been able to isolate Julian’s means to communicate completely.
Nobody has seen or heard directly from Julian as of this moment.
The Wikileaks tweets posted are from the wiki leaks organization. Not Julian directly.

- The embassy itself has reported that there are no issues/ problems.

So the next questions are;

How did these rumors start?

Who started them?

Was it or is it some sort of attack?

I’m no whiz on the computer because I’m old school and that’s because I am old (er).

“The embassy itself has reported that there are no issues/ problems.”
==
If Assange was Wikileaks only info source on the situation inside the Embassy, it will be as much in the dark as the rest of us (since he’s had his internet 86ed).

Just “Lurking” is also trolling and annoying.
