I don’t know if still true, but the western and northwestern sections of Broward County (Tamarac, Lauderhill, Sunrise, Lauderdale Lakes, some parts of Plantation ) were once heavily populated with older Jewish people from the northeast, many of them retired blue collar and union workers. They were solidly, reliably democrat voters. Many of those have been replaced by Caribbean immigrants, but with essentially the same voting pattern.

Nope. Tamarac is close to 70% democrat. It is a dem stronghold in Broward. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is reality for this State
