You nailed it. Colon Bowell was and will always be an affirmative action whatever. Couldn’t carry the jockstrap of General Swartzkopp. As Sec. of State he let Scooter Libby get screwed when he could have told the truth that his second in charge Armitage is the one who leaked Valerie Plane’s name.
No joke. Sugar-coat it all you want, Colon Bowel was FIRED by GW Bush. The only reason Bowel didn’t fall straight on his face during Gulf War I was that his leadership kept guiding him in the right direction, often forcibly. At that time, there was actually good leadership in the form of Cheney and Generals Schwarzkopf and Horner. If it wasn’t for those guys, Colon Bowel would’ve steered the ship immediately onto the rocks.
