I remember that!
One of my favorite Laurel & Hardy episodes was when they sang and danced “Shine On Harvest Moon”. It was so funny and lighthearted. Probably a lot of that was improvised. A natural born clown or actor can do that, just let her rip and keep smiling! Lucille Ball was a great clown, but from what I hear, very little was improvised. In Lucy’s case, the performance with her and Desi was all tightly scripted.
