Notice the panic to say anything except "reopened"?

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: comey; fbi; jail; reopened
Hey Rats, if it is not reopened, then it is still closed - no one working on it, no letters written, etc. She is in deep trouble. Deal with it.

Indeed. MediaMatters is really freaking out. CNN’s David Gregory and Wolf Blitzer are as well.

So, the original case isn’t re-opened? This must be a new case, huh?

Hillary has a plan for disposing of this little Weiner problem...

I think the “the case isn’t actually reopened” talking has gotten around fast, but just sounds too stupid to have any impact. Mom- who broke the Lamp? Kids- it’s not actually broken!

It always had that crack.

You can’t prove anything.

We weren’t even here.

It never really worked.

Maybe Weiner’s wife allowed Hillary to use her cell phone for State Department Business or Clinton Foundation Business.
Just a guess!

Huma wouldn’t even have to do that.

The stupid thing about destroying emails is that everyone who received them still has them.

That was part of why Comey closing the investigation the first time was absurd on its face.

He was just playing for time—he knew the case would blow up eventually.

The FBI just doesn’t spend money on worthless investigations.
She must have been caught lying under oath about emails she knew she sent. Could she be indicted even if she wins?

The odd thing here though is that the emails are typically not stored on the phone itself. They are stored in the server that the phone is accessing. So this may mean that actual files of old saved to disk emails were stored on her phone. Or perhaps Weiner was saving her emails to local files.
