God is certainly big, in the sense of sovereign, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, etc. Nowhere in His Word, however, do I see any hint that He chuckles, or otherwise winks, when His praise is given (even in jest) to pagan deities.
I’m also at a loss to see how praising an Egyptian ‘god,’ of darkness and chaos brings anyone closer to the true God.
Isaiah 42:8
I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.
I see it this way. Moses didn’t create God. Quite the opposite. I don’t know how He revealed Himself before Moses. If He revealed himself in His way to folks prior to Moses I don’t pretend to understand or know how. If millenials see KEK in a video game and it leads them to “I am the Light” it ain’t any of my business. Our Lord knows us as individuals.
I will never forget when a lady asked me about “that moment” when I prayed the sinner’s prayer. When I explained I met Jesus during an intellectual search over a decade she acted like I was not saved because I had not had a Road to Damascus experience. He draws each of us unto Himself in His way not ours. He will find you where ever you look. If you need an emotional epiphany then He will meet you there. If your intellect requires logic and rationality He can do that, too.
See, you are assuming KEK is a “pagan deity”. I don’t pretend to know that. For all I know KEK was what Moses called Him in his youth.
