Hillary won the popular vote in the 2008 Democratic nomination process, but they still gave it to Obama.

Popular vote spin continues.

Saw a story today that 10% of the 10-20 million illegal aliens voted.

Good thing we don’t go by popular vote.

Fraud vote: all votes cast in excess of voters living in Broward County FL and Philadelphia PA

Just that could knock it down by at least half a million

Add to Trump Vote: most of the military absentee ballots never delivered overseas

If we had an impartial and fair media, Hillary wouldn’t have come close to getting the votes she actually did. And then there were the fraudulant votes.

“I estimate that Clinton will win the popular vote by close to 1.5 million after those two states report their final count.”

That’s nice. Also irrelevant.

The people who obsess about the popular vote would also probably say that the football team that gets the most total yards should beat the team with the most points scored.

Media loons will cry about that for the next four years..yeah the ONLY reason why Clinton won the popular vote is because of California and all the illegal aliens who voted for her otherwise she would have gotten creamed in the popular vote too..Dems love the electoral college when their guy wins, but when WE won they hate it

Popular vote is irrelevant.
One must win states. Hillary did not visit many of them.
Wisconsin was one of them, she lost as a result of her failed strategy.

I estimate that Clinton will win the popular vote by close to 1.5 million after those two states report their final count.

I estimate she'll win by ten million votes once her people get done counting.

Maybe twenty million.

They start out by saying that Hillary won the popular vote, which is odd because the only factor necessary to win the election is to accumulate a majority of Electoral Votes.

Look, in the World Series just won by the Cubs, Cleveland and Chicago ended up scoring the same number of runs for the series - 27. But let us suppose Cleveland had scored 30 runs for the seven games. Would the Indians try to claim the Chicago's victory in the World Series was somehow less legitimate because Cleveland scored more runs? No way. Because the rules say, to win the World Series, you need to win four game. Nothing else matters.

Is HC really ahead in the popular vote ?

Why aren’t electoral maps being updated to include AZ & MI ?
Could it be so that the popular vote count doesn’t include these states also ?

Is this another biased media attempt to foment dissent ?

Each state get rid of the dead people on the rolls. Also, there has to be a computer program that can somehow get the in state and cross state lines duplicates off the roles. A major project, but we have two years to get it done. Is this legally up to each state or can Congress vote on this?

"Voting Reclamation Act" or some such?

They took away all of our polling stations in WA, and forced us to vote by mail. I still think it is illegal

But she is 70 or so votes shy of him in the electoral college - He has a MANDATE so suck it up.

Funny how they love the system when it suits but hate it when it doesn't.

The drumbeat builds to end the Electoral College which is a fantastic way to determine a presidential election - one that has fairly chosen presidents of both parties by margins large and small.

But if a defense of the EC doesn’t work well try this:

Only a total moron would want the presidency decided by the popular vote because then it takes only one out-of-control voter to tilt the entire election. One computer hacker in New York or California or Texas can simply zap a million or two votes for their preferred candidate and throw the whole process into chaos.

Even if that did not happen, recall how long it took to do the unfinished Florida recount in 2000 and then multiply by 50. All the legal challenges. It would take months to finish. Indeed the “media recount’ of Florida did not come out until summer, 2001. Nobody would want to see that happen.

So, if the Electoral College must be destroyed, I have an alternative: Let’s give each county or parish across the country one vote and total those votes. How many counties went for Trump, how many went for Clinton? What could be more fair?
