There will be months of finger-pointing and internal reprisals over exactly what Democrats should have done differently. But the shocking thoroughness of the defeat is plain.

I am not sure that Bernie Sanders wouldn’t have been a tougher opponent. Most people equated Hillary as a crook so she was easy to brand.
I am sure Trump would have came up with something for Bernie but I don’t know if it would have been effective. Maybe we will find out in 2016 if Bernie runs.
The answer to the Democrats puzzle in the lie in the first paragraph “a man who opened his campaign by calling Mexicans rapists”. I had lots of trouble pulling the lever for DJT but what put me over the edge was the constant lies and twisting of speech to shut people up. Stifling speech is one of the greatest violations of our constitutional rights and many who pulled the DJT lever pulled it because they are fed up. And the left has not figured that out yet.
So, "fringe" equals not sucking on the government tit. Got it.
The Democrats war on white working class people, once the backbone of their party, is responsible for their loss. If they keep kissing up to BLM, La Raza, Planned Parenthood and all these fringe groups, and calling and treating working class whites as racists, then the midwest is gonna go red.
