An interesting continuity error appears in this version of the show opener (which was added only because too many viewers thought Felix was gay)...the first version identified Oscar Madison as his *childhood* friend. As I recall, they were later shown in an episode as having met in the Army.
They rebooted the series on CBS.
Another episode had them meet for the first time when they served on a jury.
