Ivanka Trump recently appeared alongside her father, President-elect Donald J. Trump, and surrounding family members in their first postelection interview, in New York City. The 35-year-old businesswoman wore a nude short-sleeved dress and opted for gold accessories, including a $10,800, 18K yellow gold diamond bangle from her eponymous jewelry line.
Soon after the interview it was revealed that one of the fashion mavens employees sent an email to journalists offering style details on the expensive bangle.
Seeing as Trumps eldest daughter is heavily scrutinized by the press and media alike, for the conflict of interest that lies in promoting her own business at high profile political appearances, it didnt take long for social media users to take issue with Ivanka hawking her own expensive bangle on the segment. Many users felt that Ivanka was using this important interview as a marketing opportunity.
Ivanka Trump brand president President Abigail Klem said in a statement that a well-intentioned employee was to blame for the release who is still making adjustments post-election. We are proactively discussing new policies and procedures with all of our partners going forward, said Klem.
This isnt the first time Ivanka has worn and promoted her own design.
In fact, throughout her fathers campaign, Ivanka was spotted in many pieces from her own label. She notably wore a $138 sheath dress from her clothing line to introduce Trump before he accepted the Republican Partys nomination for the presidency at the Republican National Convention, back in July. Shes worn a number of other dress and shoe styles from her collections to appearances during the political campaign. Self-branding will always be controversial for high profile figures, especially for those with political ties, but it doesnt seem like Ivanka plans to change.

She may wear her own designs of jewelry and clothing. But if it were not for the media writing stories about it I would have never known they were from her collection. So really it’s the hypocritical media that is promoting her products—and then blaming her.
Thats all they got
And she looked stunning while doing so.
Right. And how many gushing stories have we endured on the stuff Mooch wears around? Hillary? Sorry, no sale.
Good point.
The bracelet was paid for with their money. Are they auditing MichellO’s wardrobe costs too?
An employee tried to capitalize on this, not Ivanka
Obviously the company needs to make new guidelines
She should have worn no jewelry better yet baggy clothes and tried to look as trashy as possible?
Anyone busy looking at her bracelet has real issues. Ivanka is flat out gorgeous.
Another non-story.
...Thats all they got....
That, and all the usual Liberal hate machine. It’s in warp drive both paid and unpaid.
Lesley Stahl should have bought something from Ivanka’s golden ball-gag collection.
Picture? Anyone. Instead of us all hitting yahoo “news”
Another TRUMP benefiting from free advertising by the rabid MSM. LOL
The MSMLSD crowd will look for anything now to disparage Trump and his family. Of course 0bama’s family was off limits but that was then and this is now.
Like you, I would not have known or cared whose brand she wore, as long as she looked appropriate for the occasion. Wonder if the libs realize how much free press they are giving another Trump on yet another issue.
Keep that free advertising coming!
Haters MUST hate, it is in their nature.
P.S. Screw yahoo... Trump WILL make America great again and he will do it despite your pathetic attempts to sabotage his Presidency.
But when Hillary wore a $14,000.00 dress nota peep.
These people are paid trolls
