It wasn’t all that difficult after awhile.

At first, I was in a tent out a way from town on Vancouver Island.
I would practice at night and all I could get was loud chirps and squeaks out of the thing.

It was the fall and the rut was on.

I would routinely have bucks right close to the tent answering “the challenge”.
The first time it happened my blood ran cold. I didn’t have a clue what just screeched and bellowed not more than a couple feet away from me.

Got the first parts of the song down after a few months.

No longer have a clarinet, I might get one again.

Neighbor gave be a bunch of LP’s last year, some his, some his deceased Dads. One of them was a pretty beat up Shecky Greene comedy LP. Very odd thing was that the front cover was autographed by Dave Brubeck with some little banter, something to the effect “Counting down until I spend some time in space” Obvious reference to his classic 1962 LP. My neighbor has no idea where his father got that autograph. Best speculation is that he did frequented Hollywood Clubs so maybe he went to see Shecky hoping to get his autograph and that Brubeck was in the audience. I have compared the autograph to know authentic samples and it is legit.

What’s needed right now is political pressure. The Attorney General in Utah needs to understand he will be considered guilty of criminal obstruction.
