Little background- my 13YO daughter is an exceptional dancer that's been in several off broadway shows. She's also a huge supporter of Donald Trump. For the past six months she's been begging me to get her tickets to Hamilton (we live just outside NYC). I told her i refuse to buy her tickets to that show for a variety of reasons. My wife scored a pair of tickets for my daughter a few weeks ago and asked what i thought. "Worst case scenario," I said, "we can sell them on stub hub." After finding out what happened last night my daughter told me this evening she has no interest in seeing the show and is selling her tickets. She then read something on the Hamilton website which seemingly boasted about last night's events which angered her further. Bottom line; my daughter has been rapping and dancing to Hamilton for six months but is now so turned off by what they did she wants nothing to do with the show. I could imagine what the middle of the road ticket buyer must be thinking.
Donate the profit on scalping the tickets to the Missionaries of the Poor.
Better yet, find a very smelly street bum, buy him a bottle of MD 20/20 and ask him if he wants to get inside for the evening and hand him the ticket.

While I usually wholeheartedly agree with making a donation for money higher than face value on tickets, in this case, I’d suggest hanging onto the money to pay for any of the many parting shots liberals will be making on the way out the door towards your wallet.
Good for your daughter. This reminds me of young people in the 60’s who smashed their Beatles albums when John Lennon boasted the Beatles were more popular than God. BTW, Lennon later said he didn’t mean it in a negative way.

Your daughter shows a wisdom far beyond her years and a maturity greater than the yuppies from my generation where this type of madness started.
Do any federal dollars directly or indirectly support this theatre? If so, they should be withheld for political bias or whatever. Further, Trump should appoint Governor Palin or someone, maybe Clint Eastwood to review National Endowment for the Arts and other federal programs to ensure they even-handedly fund the arts WITHOUT political, race, gender, religion, or other bias EXCEPT that they be pro-American.
I had tickets previously as well but members of the Hollywood Republicans here whom I trust told me that it was too lefty for them, and the tickets were refunded afterwards.
I say let her buy something with the profit.
This is the perfect response. Sends a clear message. Wish everyone would do this. A good deed done to the homeless and gives the libtards a clear message. "Want the unwashed masses? then why not enjoy sitting amongst them for a few hours?"

Not clear on your point. One could use the profit at Starbucks, but how does that affect the ideological yadda yadda.

That would be okay, too ... but people have leprosy out in Indonesia. The MOP are building a home for them.
Give it a few days. She may change her mind and then regret not going. Since she has been in Off Broadway plays it could be a very big deal to get see a Hit. But then again...she might be hacked off the whole time she is there.
