Seems like the artist could have spent a little more on her project and put some varnish on it preventing anyone from having a problem.

That's what I was thinking. Rather than spend $1.2 million carting it away, spend a few bucks and spray it with a sealing varnish. Problem solved.

I know. I suppose some snowflake would hyperventilate about polyurethane fumes if they did that. Drop it in my yard. That would be a lifetime supply of firewood for me.
