My God grant him pardon and peace.
John Glenn’s wingman in Korea was Ted Williams. Supposedly Glenn stated he formerly outranked Williams but given William’s was more experienced in combat he let him take the lead.
My God grant him pardon and peace.
He may be remembered as part of the Keating Five, but overall - he lived a wonderful life. God bless him.
More stuff on Mr. Glenn that I did not know... He suffered a traumatic brain injury when he fell at home in 1964 when he first ran for office. And he was on the short list for Carter's VP pick.
He was my senator, and more good than bad. He was a calm, steady guy. He would not fit in today’s Democrat party; he was far too pro-America.
