You know, Steve Earle and John Fogerty are co-travelers in their subversive craft, and given the McCains and Grahams of the world I can see why.
I’d give my eyeteeth to see Steve do Copperhead Road, and molars for Fogerty, too, if they could just understand that DJT is here to reverse all the crap they base their anti-Clinton/Bush politics on.

I love that.........on another note, I’m so disappointed Andrea Bocelli decided to whimp out on performing. The left sure does a good job of intimidating people with the threat of a work “slow down”. It takes away some of my respect for those who whimp out like Bocelli. I’d be willing to bet that if he told them to pound sand and he was going to perform for President Trump anyway, he’d have more engagements than he could handle. It’s a new world......people like myself would love to see more of them doing it.

Agreed 95%. Get rid of the speech for the TV cameras...until after the executive orders are signed nullifying the Kenyan's unlawful decrees issued over the past 8 years. Then hold a press conference...with no questions posed by the peanut gallery...then get back to work.

I remember a marching band, marines perhaps. and a singer for the National anthem. We done need more than that and a good forward thinking inaugural speech.
Well, W did ‘em up pretty good.. I’ve never been, but all my compatriots have, so it IS a tradition, but this is not a traditional election. Indeed, it was all about jettisoning the UniParty and its traditions which have driven us off the cliff.
I’m all for a par-tay, but at our time and choosing, not to the Left’s specs.

People like music - it can set the mood. he will end up with some fine entertainment and all will be well. No reason to jump the shark the LSM has set before you by trying to make it a sign of Trump’s illegitimacy because left-wing “entertainers” are out of touch with reality and the People....
I don’t watch an Inauguration for lectures. The Inauguration is a PARTY, and as such, it needs FUN, music, dancing, and entertainment. The lectures can come later; those folks can do some TED talks or something.
